High Protein Cheesy Beef Noodle Bake

This dish is cheesy and very satifying when you've been working all day and need to get dinner on othe table. By using protein pasta and cottage cheese, it becomes hearty goodness! Thaw your protein for an even quicker meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of protein pasta
  • 1 lb of lean ground beef
  • 15 oz crushed tomatoes
  • 1 large onion chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1.5 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp dried sweet basil
  • 1 c chicken broth
  • 1.5 c cottage cheese
  • 1 c shredded mozzerella/parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a large stock pot, brown the ground beef. Once browned add the onions and cook until translucent.
  • Fill another pot with water and add salt. Brinig pot to a boil and add 1lb of protein pasta. Cook slightly underdone (so they aren't overcooked in the oven)
  • To the beef and onion add the seasonings, stir and the broth and crushed tomatoes.
  • Simmer and let reduce slightly.
  • Drain pasta. Add beef mixture and pasta to a large bowl
  • To the bowl add the cottage cheese with 1/4c grated cheese
  • Place everything in a 9×13 pan.
  • Top with remaining grated cheese and place in a 350* oven for 12-15min, or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let pan sit for 5min then serve

Notes

` you can sub out the cheeses for anything of your preference, this is just a template recipe. Take it and customize to what your needs are!
